Hainan Kopi Tales 琼园咖啡香 is a Singaporean Chinese drama serial which aired in year 2000. The show starred Chew Chor Meng, Cynthia Koh, Florence Tan, Lin Meijiao, Chen Huihui, Li Wenhai and other Mediacorp artistes.

Chew Chor Meng won the Best Actor award, Lin Meijiao was nominated Best Actress and the show was nominated Best Drama Serial in the Star Awards 2000 ceremony.

Story

Using the famous Hainan coffeeshop as a backdrop, this nostalgic drama explores the Hainanese way of life from the 60s to the 80s.

Long Fu Yuan, a Hainanese coffeeshop owner, has two sons with his second wife in Indonesia. Long's first wife constantly makes life difficult for his second wife and her sons when they move to Singapore.

Ah Sing decides to be sailor in order to avoid her. Not long after Long returns to Hainan Island to retire and Ah Sing is asked to manage the coffeeshop when Long's first wife cannot save the ailing business.
